Pretty interesting exhibit. Watches weren’t popular until officers in World War I wore them. Tower clocks, as seen above, were first desinged to ring bells and not show the time. This is actually how the word clock came about. Its a derivative of the Middle English word ‘clok’, which was abother word for bell.

It’s not easy being green.
I was walking by a tour bus yesterday when I heard them mention that Kermit the Frog lived nearby. Pressed for time, I didn’t get to go then, but I made it my first priorety today. Really, I couldn’t think of a better way to start the day.
