G’night

Pretty relaxing night. They have FREE HOT SHOWERS here! The showers at places like this that I have been staying at usually charge 25ยข for 5 minutes., so you have to shower real quick to make sure you don’t get left in a sudsy state. But here, I probably took a 15-20 minute shower which felt absolutly great, especially after my nice brisk swim. (Sidenote: It was kind of weird. They had two lifeguards on duty but the deepest part of the deep section wasn’t past my chest)

After that I headed back to my campsite and made frinds with the kid staying at the tent site next to me, Ed. He just finished his first year at grad school and was camping by himself for the weekend so it worked out well, although I kind of just bailed out on him so I could go to bed (no insult to our conversation, I’m just tuckered).

I’m trying to post how far I ride each day because a lot of people are interested in thqt, but I already put my bike away for the night, so I’ll post that info tomorrow before I clear it. It looks like I might be staying in NY one more night, and then I should be in NJ/PA (I’m pretty much traveling the boarder so I’ll be switching back and forth all the time).

That’s it for now. Thanks for the calls. G’night everyone.
