I’m Done!

For a few days at least. At around 7:30pm yesterday I met up with Pat, just as planned. After loading up my gear, we talked to a crazy guy, dubbed Bill, in the gas station parking lot, and then headed back to Pat’s Dad’s place. I showered up which felt amazing especially after riding 111.11 miles. So that’s two Centuries back to back. I was pretty proud.

We hung out for a little bit, and then met up with Tripp and went out to the Outback. I’ve been wanting to go there since DC,m but just never got the chance. I devoured the 12 oz. Outback Special, which comes with a side and salad, that I got even after munching on the bread and cheese fries we got. I was stuffed, but boy was it delicious. The best part was, was that it was basically free since my grandmother had given me money before I left to go back to CT to do just this. It took a while to do it, but I really don’t think I could have done it on a more deserving night. Thanks Mimi!

After the Outback, we came back to Pat’s house where Pat and Tripp played pool. We were all going to play Cut Throat, I really fun game of pool that’s good for three people that I had just learned about in DC, but I was just way to tired to even attempt playing. So they played a few games and then before we knew it, it was 1:30 so Tripp went home and we crashed out.

Today I’m meeting up with Chet, who is coming down from North Carolina. I’m not sure what exactly we’re going to do, but I’m sure we’ll find something good. Then around 7 I’m meeting back up with Pat and we’re going back to his Mom’s place for dinner and Family Guy, and then to his apartment in Columbia.

Today should be a pretty sweet day. I can already say that sleeping in (till 8:30 on a Sunday!) has been awesome. I’m going to try to post more on my days off now, like I did in DC, not like in Richmond. I’m not sure how long I’m staying here yet, it kind of depends on how long till my rear starts too feel better, but at the very least I should be here till Wednesday.
