pssh

I just installed this on the Treo and test it out quickly and it looks awesome! Its the first program I’ve installed that didn’t come with it, so I was a little hesitant about how easy it would be since I’m on a mac, but it was a breeze. Check it out for yourself here

Dash Blog

I’ve recently upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4 – Tiger. So far I like it, it works great on my Mac Mini. One of the cool new features in it is the Dashboard. Coming from Linux before making this switch, these remind me of GnomeDesklet. The main differance between GnomeDesklets and Dashboard Widgets is that they act more like application windows than embedded into the desktop. DashBlog in particular allows you to make posts to your Blogger.com blog with out using their webpage. So far all of the posts in the blog have been made using it. My only complaint about it is that I just don’t like the colors of the UI, but really not that bad. You can download the latest version from here where they also have a screen shot.

New Blog

Ok. To try and keep geek posts seperate from my Bike trip, I’ve created a new blog. I’m not sure if this is the most optimal solution, I’d really just like to be able to classify my posts into catagories. This way I could have all my posts in one blog, and users would be able to select which catagories they wished to view. I’ll be looking into having my own blog hosted on my own site in the near future to see if there are any benfits of doing so. But regardless this will have to work for now.
