Ottawa Linux Symposium

I’m attending the Ottawa Linux Symposium this year again. I found last year’s event very interesting and enlightening and figured I’d try to do a better job at posting my review of presentations this year. I doubt it will be nearly as useful as many of the other sites that I’m sure will come up in google, but maybe I’ll be wrong.

On a another note, if you happen to find this while at the conference this year, leave a comment and maybe we can meet up. I’m planning to attend the Hacker Bike ride this year, and would definitely be interested in meeting up with other riders before or after the conferences each day for a quick ride.

HOWTO: Burn .bin/.cue files on a Mac

Since Tiger there’s been a utility called ‘drutil’ which is a tool to interact with CD/DVD burners. To use it you simply need to drop down the your favorite shell and type ‘drutil burn .cue’ and your off and running. Its an easy fix, but I always seem to forget the name of it when I need it so I figured I’d make a post for your and my sakes both. Enjoy!
