Its just past two, and I’m a few miles into North Carolina. I’ve riden about 60 miles so far, but the heat is just too much right now to handle.
I found this church, which had the back door open. I went in, but no one was around, so I heped myself to some ice and creaned up a bit in the bathroom.
I’m going to take a nap on the back pourch where I’ll be out of the sun, and there’s the occasional breeze.
Unfortunatly I still don’t have cell phone service. I haven’t since last night. Its a real shame because I’ve had both time to talk and places to charge my battery. C’est la vie.
